We are looking forward to welcoming runners and guests to the 23rd Salomon Wadi Bih Run to be held on Fri 6th & Sat 7th Feb 2015.

Please check our website and download run instructions, maps and other documentation to bring with you to the run.

Our event page on the Premier Online website that we use for the collection of runners and guests’ passport & visa information is now closed and we have been advised by our partner, the Golden Tulip Hotel in Dibba, that it is not possible to change or add runners or guests to the entry list for the border crossing. We apologise for this but the matter is completely with the border authorities in Dibba. We suggest that you look on our FB page to try and find a replacement runner or you can run the event with a team of 3 or 4 people although you will not be eligible for the prizes and each runner will cover a greater distance !

Please ensure that all runners and guests bring their PASSPORTS on the day and the vehicle and driver have the correct licence and insurance.

Please note that this year the race pack pick up will be at our registration desk at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Dibba.

Please note that due to the numbers of runners and guests crossing the border on Thursday , Friday and Saturday it is likely to be very busy and everyone is requested to be polite and courteous. Please note that it is not permissible to take alcohol through the border crossing in Dibba. Alcohol can be purchased at the Golden Tulip Hotel.

The golden Tulip hotel will have a PRO, with our representative, at a desk just before the border where you should collect your border entry pass.

Everyone is requested to use the Corniche ( coastal ) border crossing and then follow the coast road to the Golden Tulip hotel. Please note there are some road works and diversions in progress but we will place directional signs.

Please remember that we have special prizes for the best named and best dressed team so the sartorially orientated are requested to dream up some innovative and amusing rigouts.

We are looking for volunteers to help us with the event organisation at the start and finish and marshalling out on the course so if there are any runners or friends or family of participants who have arranged their border entry that would like to get involved we’d be delighted to hear from you. It’s a great weekend out away from the urban sprawl in a really spectacular environment with the beautiful beach of the Gulf of Oman and the dramatic backdrop of the mountain’s and the Wadis
We are expecting approximately 400 runners on the Friday and 1200 runners on the Saturday and it’s a good opportunity to catch up with some regular old time runners and outdoor types.
We will be camping at the Golden Tulip Hotel on the Thursday & Friday evening and will arrange meals.
