In the early days the original runs were organized by a dedicated team of outdoor enthusiasts from the RAK Hash House Harriers and the atmosphere at the events was very much akin to a family day out with exercise and a picnic in the desert.

As the run has grown, we have benefited from a number of sponsors including major running sports apparel companies, energy and nutritional products and sports drinks.

For the upcoming season, Adventure HQ would be the title sponsor of the race. Registered runners would be receiving an exclusive discount code that can be redeemed on Adventure HQ website or their stores.
